We are Portwell-Laxsons India Pvt Ltd, and you’ll find our office at Laxsons House, AA2 on Walbhat Road in Goregaon (E). It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but we’ve been at this location for a while. The building also uses the P.B. No. 9032 address for mail. Our space is more of an industrial office than a retail one. We handle a lot of hardware and specialized computer boards that aren't really for your average home user. The atmosphere in the office is pretty laid back, though it gets hectic when we have large shipments coming in or going out. Walbhat Road is usually full of trucks and delivery vans, so there’s always something happening outside the window. Inside, we have our technical area where we check things over and a small office section for the paperwork. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have fancy paintings on the walls or designer chairs. Most of the decor is just boxes of components and technical manuals. The team here knows their stuff when it comes to industrial computing, and we spend a lot of time on the phone with clients who need very specific hardware solutions. It’s a solid, hardworking environment. We take our lunch breaks together sometimes, usually just getting something from the local vendors nearby. It’s a good place to work if you like being around the technical side of things without all the corporate fluff.
