Poonam Mobile

We are located in Mumbai, running Poonam Mobile. Being in such a big city means there is always someone looking for help with their phone. It’s a small operation. We don’t have multiple branches or anything like that. It’s just the one place where we keep the chargers, batteries, and different phone models on display. Mumbai is fast, and people always seem to be in a rush when they come in. They want their phone fixed yesterday. We do our best to keep up. The shop is usually a bit crowded because we try to fit as much stock as possible on the walls. It’s not a fancy air-conditioned showroom, just a practical spot for mobile needs. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about why their battery isn't holding a charge or which screen protector is actually worth buying. Sometimes the rain makes it quiet, but usually, it's pretty steady. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall guy knows exactly when to bring our afternoon chai. It’s just a normal job for us. We handle the repairs, sell the units, and deal with the paperwork. Nothing more, nothing less. It gets dusty with the windows open, but that’s the reality of working in the city. Sometimes we get these older phones that nobody makes parts for anymore, and we have to tell the customer we can't find the piece. It's frustrating for them and us, but we don't like to give false hope.
