Poonam Industries operates out of Gala No 87 in the Mehta Industrial Estate area. Even though our address includes Rmz Eco Space and Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, we are based here in Malad West. The industrial estate is its own world, with trucks constantly backing in and out of the narrow lanes. Inside our unit, it’s all about the machines and the production schedule. We have been here for a long time, and the floor is worn down from years of heavy work. It’s not a place for suits or meetings; it’s a place where things actually get made. We spend a lot of time checking gauges and making sure the output is what it should be. The noise from the neighboring units blends in with ours, creating a constant hum that you eventually stop hearing after a few weeks. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any marketing materials lying around the place. It’s just the raw materials coming in and the finished goods going out. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of grease and metal. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. Being in Malad means we are close to everything we need to keep the factory running. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
