Pooja Plast

Down in Goregaon West, specifically in the Odhav 13210 area, you’ll find Pooja Plast. We are basically a small factory setup. There is always the sound of machines running and the smell of warm plastic in the air. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a quiet meeting. Most of our day is spent watching the molds and making sure the quality is okay. We have a few workers who have been with us for years, and we all just kind of know what to do without talking too much. The floor is usually covered in some scraps, but we sweep up at the end of the shift. Goregaon is a busy hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. If someone wants to see what we make, they just walk in and we show them the latest batch. The office part is just a small cabin with a desk that’s seen better days. We get a lot of dust from the main road, so we keep the windows shut mostly. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we have some heavy-duty fans to keep the air moving. We just focus on getting the orders out on time so we can start on the next one tomorrow morning.
