Pooja Panchal

I am Pooja Panchal and I work out of the Maa Building in Malavani Mahada. My place is unit 402 on Plot No 17. Malad West is a huge area, but Malavani has its own rhythm. Being on the fourth floor gives me a bit of a view of the neighborhood, though mostly it’s just other buildings and the street below. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and you have to make the most of what you’ve got. I’ve been in this building for some time now. It’s not a corporate office tower. It’s a lived-in building with families and other small businesses like mine. I usually get in early to avoid the worst of the Malad traffic. My day involves a lot of coordination and just making sure things are moving as they should. I don’t have a big staff. It’s mostly just me handling the details. People often ask how I find this spot, but once you’re in the Mahada colony, everything starts to make sense. It’s a practical location for what I do. I don't use much fancy equipment, just what’s necessary. It’s an honest way to make a living in a city that never really sleeps. I like the fact that I can just close the door at the end of the day and be home fairly quickly. It's a simple, local operation.
