Our office for Polyfibre Industries Pvt Ltd is in the B Wing of a building in Nariman Point. People usually think of this area as being very corporate and fancy, but inside our office, it’s just us working with fiber materials. We have our desks piled up with samples and a lot of paperwork. The B Wing isn't the newest part of the building, but it does the job for us. We spend most of our days on the phone or looking at files to make sure our industrial orders are moving along. Nariman Point can be a long commute for some of us, but it is the main hub for business here. You can hear the city noise even from up in the office. We aren't a giant multinational with thousands of staff. We are a private limited company, but we keep the vibe pretty relaxed. There is usually a pot of tea sitting in the small pantry for whoever needs it. We don't have any big mission statements or posters on the walls. We just focus on the polyfibre business and try to get through the emails every day. It can be a little stressful when a shipment is running late, but mostly it is just a steady daily grind. We’ve been based in this wing for a long time now and have gotten used to the sound of the elevators and the busy lunch rush downstairs. It is a practical place for us to work.
