It’s usually pretty loud here at Pluto Plastics once the machines get going in the morning. We are tucked away in the Kotkar Indl Estate in Goregaon East, specifically at unit 39. Most days start with us checking the power and making sure the molds are clean. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular industrial setup where things get done. The traffic around Off Aar can be a real headache, so most of us try to get in early before the heat and the cars really build up. We’ve been at this for a while now, dealing with all sorts of plastic parts. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with scraps, but that is just how it goes when you’re working with these materials all day long. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the crates. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our work clothes moving things around or sitting near the fans when it gets too stuffy. It’s a lot of repetitive work, watching the cycles and making sure nothing jams. We take our tea breaks together near the entrance when there’s a lull in the schedule. It is a simple life here in the estate, just keeping the production moving and getting the orders loaded onto the trucks that squeeze through the narrow lanes outside.
