Plus Point Electronic Mobile Services Centre

We are tucked away in Powai, right on the 9th Cross. Our service centre is where people bring their phones and gadgets when things stop working right. It’s not a big place, just enough room for a few workbenches and some chairs for people to wait. We have tiny screws and parts scattered across the mats, and there’s always a soldering iron warming up somewhere. The street outside stays pretty busy, so there’s a constant hum of bikes and cars. We spend most of our day hunched over small screens, trying to figure out what went wrong. It takes a lot of patience, and sometimes our eyes get tired by the evening. We have some shelves filled with old phone cases and chargers that have been there for ages. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to move everything out of the way. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background just to keep things from being too quiet. People from all over Powai come in with broken glass or batteries that won't charge. We just do our best with what we have. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy. We just focus on the task in front of us. The tea break is the best part of the afternoon when we can finally step outside for a bit.
