Plasto India

At Plasto India, over at Kandivali West 4, Garden View, S V P Road, we deal mostly in things that are made of plastic. You will find stacks of colorful buckets, sturdy chairs, and all sorts of kitchen containers piled up inside. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of space, often hanging things from the ceiling or stacking them out near the entrance. It can get a bit overwhelming when a new shipment arrives and we have to find a place for fifty new laundry baskets. S V P Road is a lively area, and we get all sorts of people walking by, from housewives looking for a new mop to shopkeepers needing storage bins. We don't bother with fancy decorations because the products themselves are bright enough. Sometimes the heat makes the shop feel a bit like an oven, so we keep a small table fan running near the stool where we sit. It is a simple business. We buy things, we stack them, and we sell them to neighbors who need something durable for their homes. We have been in Kandivali for a bit now, and we have seen the neighborhood change, but people always need plastic goods. We just try to keep the items people ask for most in stock so they don't have to go far. It is a straightforward way to make a living.
