Pioneer Industrial Products

You’ll find us at C7/15 in Santacruz West, over in Bhadran Nagar. We’re in the Rishi Mangal Society, which is quite close to N L High School. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our industrial products business set up right here. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes getting the bigger deliveries in, but we managed to make it work over the years. We handle all sorts of industrial items that factories and workshops need. The office is pretty basic. We have a couple of computers, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of samples of valves or belts or whatever else is in demand that week. We don’t really go in for the polished corporate look. Our walls are covered with old calendars and charts. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure our delivery boys are on the right track. It’s a small, family-run kind of vibe here. We know the school kids who walk past every afternoon and the local vendors. We aren't looking to become some massive global firm. We just want to provide the right parts to the people who need them and keep our reputation solid in the neighborhood. It’s practical, everyday work. We show up early, stay until the orders are filled, and then go home. It’s a steady way to live and work.
