We spend a lot of time on site or in our office in Chakala. Petron Civil Engineering Pvt Ltd has been handling various construction tasks for quite some time now. It’s not always pretty work. There is a lot of mud, concrete, and long hours involved in building things. We look at blueprints and try to make sense of how everything fits together on the ground. Chakala is a busy area, so getting materials delivered can be a real headache with the traffic. Our office isn't anything special, just desks and a lot of rolled-up drawings. We deal with a lot of different workers and contractors. Managing a site is about solving problems that you didn't see coming. One day the weather is bad, the next day a machine breaks down. We just keep moving forward. It’s a practical business. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the structural stuff and making sure things are built right. Sometimes we stay late to finish up paperwork or check on a project’s progress. It’s a lot of responsibility because people rely on what we build. It's not a glamorous life, but seeing a project finish up is a good feeling. We’ve seen many changes in the neighborhood over the years. We just stay focused on the engineering side of things. Chakala has changed a lot since we first set up here. There are new buildings popping up everywhere you look.
