Perfect Placements

We’re up on the 8th floor of the building in Hariom Market on Reid Road. It’s a bit of a trek if the elevator is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. Borivali is a crowded place, and our office at F/820 reflects that energy. Perfect Placements is the name on the door. We spend our days looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for work. It can be stressful because everyone wants a job yesterday, but we do what we can. We have stacks of files on the desks and the phone rings pretty much constantly. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls. It’s just a bunch of desks, some chairs for people to wait in, and a lot of coffee being drunk. We talk to employers and try to figure out who might fit where. Sometimes it works out great, and other times it doesn’t, but that’s the nature of this business. We’ve been in Hariom Market for a good while, so we know most of the other shop owners on the lower floors. It’s a community feel even though we’re way up on the 8th. We try to be honest with people about their chances and what’s available. It’s a lot of talking and listening. We just keep plugging away at it, day after day. It's hard work helping people find their way, but someone has to do it. We've been here for years.
