Lamington Road is a world of its own, and we are tucked away on 2nd B Main Road. If you know this part of the city, you know how the area gets. It’s packed with shops and people looking for every kind of electronic part you can think of. Our place is at 2nd Stage 9, and it’s pretty much filled to the ceiling with boxes and components. There are wires hanging in some spots and shelves that are sagging a bit under the weight of the stock. It’s not the kind of shop where everything is neatly displayed behind glass. You have to know where to look or just ask us where we put things. We spend most of the day testing things or looking up parts for customers who come in with broken gadgets. The humidity makes everything feel a bit sticky, so the old ceiling fan is always on high. It’s noisy outside with the horns and the people shouting, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We’ve got a small workbench in the back with a soldering iron and some basic tools. It’s a small space, so you have to be careful where you step to avoid tripping over a crate. People come here because they know we’ve been around for a bit and we usually have that one random capacitor or resistor they can't find anywhere else. It’s just a regular electronics shop doing its thing in one of the busiest parts of the city.
