Pavan Polymer

Down here at Purvi Mathura Das Cross Road 201 in Kandivali West, the day starts early for us at Pavan Polymer. The road gets crowded pretty fast, so we try to get the deliveries sorted before the trucks block everything up. We deal with polymers and plastic materials mostly. It’s a lot of lifting bags and checking the inventory in the back room. The office isn’t much to look at, just a desk with some old ledgers and a computer that takes its time to start up. We’ve been at this spot for a while, so the neighbors know us well. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we spend a lot of time just wiping things down. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is humid and the plastic smells a bit strong. We don't do much advertising, people just find us or call because they’ve worked with us before. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly between orders. We handle a lot of phone calls during the day, mostly people asking about prices or when their stuff will arrive. It can be stressful when a machine acts up or a delivery is late, but we manage. It’s just how things are run here. We keep the doors open for the breeze, even if it brings in the noise from the street.
