We are tucked away in 13/A at Durian Estate. Being on the Goregaon Mulund Link Road means we see a lot of traffic passing by every single day. Most people find us because they’re looking to fix up their kitchens and someone told them to check out Goregaon East. It’s a small space, really. We have some displays set up so you can see how the drawers slide and what the finishes look like in person. It’s better than looking at a catalog. We spend a lot of time talking about hinges and where the sink should go. It’s funny how much time you can spend thinking about where a trash can fits under a counter. We do the measurements ourselves because if you get those wrong, nothing fits when you get to the house. That’s the worst part of the job, having to go back and trim something. The dust from the laminates gets everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just me and a couple of guys who handle the fitting. We aren't a big showroom with lights and music. It’s more of a place where we get the work done. People come in with their own ideas or photos they saw online, and we try to make something similar that actually works in their space. It gets busy during the festive season when everyone wants their home ready. We just keep working through the pile of orders and hope the rain doesn't leak through the roof.
