Parmar Enterprises

It's usually quite crowded here in Kalbadevi. We have been sitting in this spot at Ovalwadi Lohia Mansion for quite a while now. If you know the area, you know how the lanes get. Parmar Enterprises is just one of those places where the door is always opening and closing with someone bringing in a delivery or asking a quick question. Most days start early before the heat really sets in. We keep the fans running all day but it still gets warm with all the papers and stock lying around. Our office is number 10, so it’s easy to find once you get inside the building. It’s not a fancy setup, just some desks and chairs and the usual files piled up in the corners. People come by for all sorts of things, and we just try to get through the list of tasks one by one. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the internet slows down, but that's just how things go around here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, new shops coming in and old ones closing down, but we are still here doing what we do. It’s a lot of work, keeping track of everything coming in and going out, especially when the phones don't stop ringing. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure everything is sorted by the time we lock up in the evening. There's a tea stall nearby that keeps us going through the long afternoons.
