Parinita Films

We've been here at 102 off New Link Road in Andheri for a while now. It’s a busy spot, but we manage. Parinita Films is mostly about getting the work done. People come in, we talk about what needs doing, and then we just get to it. Some days are longer than others, especially when there's a deadline looming or a lot of footage to sort through. It isn't fancy here, just some desks and the gear we need. You might miss the entrance if you're not looking, right near the main road. Most of us have lived around this part of Mumbai for years, so we know the local shops and where to get a decent tea in the afternoon. We don’t really do big speeches or formal meetings. It’s more about sitting down and looking at the screen together until the project looks right. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up, but we make do. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we started, but we’re still here in the same building. It’s a practical space. We keep the doors open and try to stay organized, even when things get a bit hectic with the production schedules. Usually, it’s just a few of us working away on whatever came in that week. If you’re walking down the New Link Road area, you’ll find us easily enough. We just focus on the films and hope the equipment stays running.
