Asian Controls And Equipments is located inside the Swapnapoorti building at number 114 on Jerbai Wadia Road. If you know the Parel area, you know it is a very busy and old part of Mumbai with a lot of history in the streets. Our workspace is in a building that has clearly seen a lot of years go by. It is not one of those modern glass towers you see elsewhere; it is a sturdy, older place with thick walls and high ceilings. We have our workshop set up inside where we handle all the controls and various equipments. The room is usually crowded with boxes and old spare parts that we keep around just in case. The windows look right out over the street, so we hear the sound of the local buses and taxis all day long. It is a constant hum of noise that you eventually just stop noticing after a few weeks. We do not have a receptionist or a proper waiting room for guests. Usually, if someone comes to see us, they just walk right into the middle of the shop. We spend our time testing circuit boards and putting together parts for our clients. It gets incredibly humid during the monsoon season, and we have to be very careful with the gear. We use several old fans to keep the air moving around the room. It is a small and functional setup.
