Harshada Automation Industries

Our workshop, Harshada Automation Industries, is tucked away in the Byculla Service Industrial Estate. Specifically, we are at B-402 on Dk Cross Road in Byculla East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know it’s a hub of activity. The industrial estate is always humming with the sound of machinery and delivery trucks. We are up on the fourth floor, and it’s a busy little space. We do a lot of automation work here. The floor is usually covered with bits of wire and different components we are putting together. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we are used to the noise by now. We don't have a fancy showroom or a lobby with a receptionist. When you walk in, you’re basically walking right into the middle of the work. We like it that way because it keeps us close to the projects. Sometimes the elevator in the estate is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. We’ve been here for years and know most of the other shop owners in the building. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We don't spend money on big ads. We just focus on the machines and making sure the automation stuff works like it’s supposed to. It’s just us, some tools, and a lot of hard work in the heart of Byculla.
