You can find C 4 India over at the Bhandup Industrial Estate. We are in the Pannalal Compound, specifically at A-5088. L.B.S. Marg is right there, so the traffic noise is a constant backdrop to our workday in Bhandup West. It’s an old industrial area, and our building has that weathered look that comes with years of use. Inside, it’s all about the work. We have rows of parts and benches where we spend most of our hours. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a working shop, and that’s how it should be. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Our focus is on the tools and the items we are putting together. Most of us have been working in this estate for years, so we know the other guys around the compound. We share a laugh during the lunch break and then get back to the grind. The air can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we just open the windows and keep going. We don’t have a "mission" or anything like that. We just want to finish the jobs we have and make sure everything works before it leaves the shop. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a busy part of Mumbai. We take pride in the fact that we can fix things others can't.
