Paras Collection

I have this little shop called Paras Collection in Kher Nagar, which is in Bandra East. It is not a huge place, but I try to keep it packed with all sorts of things. We have clothes and some other daily items that people in the neighborhood might need. I have been here for quite a few years now and it has become my second home. The morning usually starts with me sweeping the floor and rearranging the racks so things look decent. People come in and out all day, some just to look around and others to buy something for a gift or for themselves. Kher Nagar is a busy little pocket and I like the people who live here. It is mostly local families who I see every day. I do not really do any advertising or anything like that. I just put a few of the new arrivals out front and people see them as they walk by. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when a lot of people are browsing at the same time, but I do not mind the chaos. I handle everything myself, from buying the stock from the wholesalers to sitting at the counter. It is a lot of standing around, but I enjoy talking to the regulars about their day. I am not trying to compete with the big malls over in Bandra West. This is just a local spot for local people. The shelves are a bit old, but the shop has a nice feel.
