P K Collection

We are over on Chakala Road, right at 131. It’s a busy spot, you know how Mumbai gets with the traffic and people everywhere. P K Collection has been here a while. We mainly deal with clothes and stuff people need daily. The shop isn't huge, but we pack it full. Most mornings start with opening the shutters and cleaning the dust off the glass counters because the road outside is always under some kind of work. People stop in while heading to work or on their way home. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when it gets crowded, it’s a bit of a mess. That is just how it goes here. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just racks and shelves with what we have in stock. If you are looking for something specific, you usually have to ask because things get moved around. The lights are a bit bright, but it helps see the colors properly. We know a lot of the regulars who live around the corner. Sometimes they just stop to say hello or ask about new stock. It’s a simple setup. We spend most of the day talking to customers or checking what needs to be reordered. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running. That’s pretty much the daily life here at P K Collection. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. Nothing too complicated about it.
