Goregaon West is where you’ll find us, at number 214. Options The Gift Shop is exactly what it sounds like. We have a bit of everything crammed onto the shelves. Photo frames, soft toys, greeting cards, and those little glass statues that people buy for birthdays. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially around festival seasons or Valentine’s Day. I spend a lot of time wrapping presents. I’m not the best at making those perfect, fancy bows, but I try to make it look decent. The shop floor is narrow, so you have to be careful not to knock things over with your bag. I’ve seen kids come in with their pocket money, agonizing over which toy to buy for their friends. It’s a nice part of the job. We don't have a big corporate strategy or anything. We just buy stuff we think people might like and hope it sells. Some things sit on the shelf for months gathering dust, and then suddenly someone buys three of them. That’s just how retail goes. The lights are a bit too bright and the doorbell rings every time someone walks in, which can get annoying after eight hours. But it’s a living. We’re just a local gift shop trying to provide a few options for the folks in Goregaon. No fancy bells or whistles, just a lot of colorful items and some wrapping paper.
