Nutan Plastics

Our setup is in a part of Mumbai called New Basti Chandrabhag, specifically in Tanda Peth. We are at building number 879, which is known as Ketki. It is a busy, crowded area where everyone seems to be doing some kind of trade. We handle plastics here. It is not the cleanest job in the world. There is always some static electricity making bits of plastic stick to everything. We spend a lot of our time moving boxes around the storage area and checking the stock levels. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow, so moving large orders can be quite a challenge. We have to be careful not to trip over things. We do not have a big team of executives. It is just us and a couple of workers who have been with us for years. We know the routine inside out. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot, though it still gets pretty warm inside with all the material around. We do not use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make and sell plastic goods. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them ourselves. That is just part of the deal. We have been at this for a long time in this neighborhood, and we plan to stay here as long as we can keep the business going.
