Novelty Furniture

Our shop is located at 5/A in Vikhroli East, right on C M E Road. If you walk inside, you'll probably smell the fresh wood and the varnish immediately. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of different pieces on the floor for people to see. We have wardrobes, dining tables, and wooden chairs mostly. It’s a small, family-run kind of setup. We don't have a massive warehouse nearby, so what you see on the floor is usually what we have ready or what we are currently building for someone. Sawdust gets everywhere, even if we try to sweep the floor every hour. We’ve stayed in this part of Vikhroli for many years now. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to see what’s new or to ask about fixing a broken leg on a chair. We aren't a big chain store with those shiny catalogs and sales teams. Most of the stuff we sell here is solid and meant to be used for a long time. I spend a lot of time talking to people about which type of wood is better for their specific house. Some days the humidity makes the wood swell, and we have to be extra careful with the finishing. Moving heavy sofas around is definitely the hardest part of the day. The street outside is always noisy with the traffic from C M E Road. We keep the doors open to let the air move through.
