Nikita Damodar Shetty

Nikita Damodar Shetty is located at 9 70D on the Old Ropar Road in Chembur. We are in the Udaya Building, which is quite close to the Grand. Chembur is a busy part of the city, and Old Ropar Road has its own character. The Udaya Building is an older structure, but it’s sturdy. Our space is 9 70D, and it’s where we do all our daily work. It is not a very big place, just enough for a few of us to sit and get things done. We have a small window that looks out towards the street, and we can see people walking by all day. Being near the Grand means there is usually some activity nearby. The office is filled with the usual stuff like computers, stacks of paper, and a half-dead plant in the corner. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a constant battle. The walls are a pale color and have some marks on them from moving furniture around. We don't spend money on fancy things, we just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the highlight of the afternoon. Living and working in Chembur feels very local and real. Nikita Damodar Shetty is just a small operation in a big building, and we like it that way. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, handling whatever the day brings.
