Nikhil Comforts

You can find our little office over at Bhaji Wala Chawl in the Prabhadevi area. We are in room number two, right on Khed Gally. It is a pretty tight space, but it works perfectly for what we do every day. We have been in this part of Mumbai for quite some time now, and we know the local neighborhood and the people pretty well. Sayani Road is always packed with people and traffic, so there is never a dull moment right outside our door. We handle a lot of different jobs related to making things comfortable for people, mostly fixing stuff or setting up equipment for neighbors nearby. It is a small team, just a couple of us who really know how to work with our hands. We do not spend much time sitting in the office because we are usually out at a work site or visiting a customer at their place. When we are actually here, it is mostly just to grab some tools or catch up on some notes. The chawl has its own rhythm, and we are just another part of that daily life. We do not have any big corporate goals or fancy plans; we just want to do a decent job so people decide to call us back next time. Sometimes the heavy rains make it hard to get around the gally, but we manage to get through it.
