Newly Decorators

We are over here at 91 Mutton Street, right near Saifee A and the Lad Sheri Road crossing. Most people just walk past the shop because it’s tucked away, but we’ve been here quite a while now. My uncle started this place and we just keep it going with basic painting and house stuff. It is usually pretty messy inside with all the half-used paint tins and old brushes drying out in the corner. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sitting on the plastic stools out front talking to the tea guy. The traffic on Sandhut Road gets really loud in the afternoons so we try to get most of our planning done early in the morning when it’s still quiet. There isn’t much to say other than we do the work ourselves and try not to make too much of a mess in people's homes. Sometimes the colors don't look exactly like the little paper strips, so we spend a lot of time mixing them by hand until it looks right to the eye. It is just a small family thing and we know most of the neighbors around here by name now. If the shop door is half-closed, it just means we are out at a job site nearby or getting more supplies from the main market. We keep things simple because that is just how we like to work.
