New Prince Store

New Prince Store is our little place over in Kurla East at number 2. We’ve been here in this neighborhood for years, so we’ve seen the kids grow up and the buildings change. It’s a general store where we keep a bit of everything that a household might need in a hurry. Our shelves are packed right up to the ceiling because the shop isn't very big and we want to have what people ask for. You might find it a bit cramped, but we know where every single packet and bottle is kept. The floor is a bit old and the paint on the walls is peeling in some corners, but that doesn't stop us from doing our work. Kurla East is a very busy area, so there is always a lot of chatter and movement right outside our door. We don’t bother with any big signs or promotional stuff. Most of our customers are neighbors we’ve known for a long time. We spend the day weighing out items, stocking the shelves, and catching up with whoever walks in. Sometimes deliveries arrive and we have to stack boxes on the sidewalk for a bit until we can move them inside. It’s just a simple, local business. We aren't trying to compete with the big supermarkets. We just stay open late and make sure our neighbors can get what they need without going too far.
