New Ocean Shipping Offshore Services

Our office is G 27 on the ground floor of Cine Wonder Mall. It feels a bit strange being a shipping and offshore service based in a shopping mall, but it works for us. Ghodbhander Road is always packed with traffic, so getting to work takes a while every morning. Inside the mall, it’s cooler at least, which we appreciate in the summer. New Ocean Shipping Offshore Services isn't a big place. Just a few rooms with computers and some maritime charts pinned up. We spend the day dealing with logistics and paperwork for ships out at sea. It’s a lot of coordination and waiting for emails to come through. The mall gets very busy on weekends with families, but we are usually just doing our own thing in the quiet corner. Sometimes people walk in looking for the cinema and realize they are in a shipping office instead. It’s a bit funny to see their faces. We have a small table for coffee and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. The floor is tiled and easy to clean. We don't have any big signs, just the name on the glass door. It’s a quiet environment compared to the actual docks. We focus on the offshore stuff mostly. It’s technical work but we just take it one day at a time. The air conditioning is probably the best part of being in this building.
