Samruddhi Transport

Operating out of Sector 1 in Kalumbuly is where we do our business. We have a small room, C-19, in the L.I.G.-2 area. It is basically a place for us to sit and handle all the paperwork that comes with moving goods from one place to another. Transport is a tough business because there are always delays or issues with the trucks. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking on where the loads are. Kalumbuly is a hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other offices around here. Our room isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs, a desk, and a lot of logbooks. We don't have a big corporate structure. It is mostly just us keeping track of the routes and making sure the fuel is paid for. Some days are very long, especially when a truck breaks down or the weather gets bad. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we know how to handle the common problems that pop up. The neighborhood is mostly other workers and people in the same trade, so there is a sense of community. We just want to get the job done and go home to our families at the end of the day. It is a lot of coordination and phone calls, but we have gotten used to the pace of the transport world.
