We are up on the third floor of Raja Bahadur Mansion. It's an old building, like many others around Bombay Samachar Marg in Fort. New National Traders has been operating from Plot No. 28 for quite some time. The elevator is sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. Our office isn't anything fancy to look at. Just a bunch of desks, some samples, and a lot of ledgers. We do trading. It's what the family has done for years. Fort is a busy place, always noisy with traffic and people rushing around. Inside, it's a bit quieter but there's always something to do. We don't spend money on interior decorators. We'd rather just focus on the orders. You can find us if you follow the signs in the hallway. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because there are so many businesses in this one mansion. We deal with all sorts of items. It depends on the season and what's in demand. If you call, a real person answers, usually me or my cousin. We don't have those automated phone systems. They’re too annoying. We just try to get the day's work finished before the commute back home starts. It's a long day sometimes, but it’s honest work. Being in the heart of the city means we’re close to everything, which helps.
