New Maya Furniture

So, we are New Maya Furniture. You can find us at 24 Chembur, right in the Uper Mevad area. It is quite a specific spot because we are near the Dabeli place and right opposite the Tanakwashi Jain Upashrya. It is a busy commercial six road area, so there is always a lot of noise and movement. If you look across from us, you will see the Neelkant Apartment building. We have been in this part of Chembur for a long time. It’s a good neighborhood, even if the traffic on the six road gets a bit much during the evenings. People often use the Jain Upashrya as a landmark to find us. We spend most of our time inside the shop among the pieces we have. It’s a lot of work keeping everything in order at number 24. We are not some big fancy showroom you see in the malls. We are just a local place in Chembur trying to do right by the people who walk in. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days we are on our feet until late at night. The Mevad Dabeli smell sometimes drifts over here which is nice. It makes the afternoons better. We know most of the shopkeepers around this six road junction. We are just part of the local furniture here, literally and figuratively. If you are near Neelkant Apartment, you’re basically there. It is a busy commercial area but we like the energy. We just keep our shop open and wait for people.
