New Choice Mobile Shop

New Choice Mobile Shop is situated in Andheri East at Shop 1. It is a very small place, right on the edge of the busy road. Andheri East is always moving, so there is a lot of noise from the buses and the rickshaws right outside our door. We have glass cases that hold different items, and we spend a lot of time wiping the fingerprints off them. The floor is made of white tiles that show every bit of dirt, so we have to sweep quite often. There isn't much room to move around behind the counter, but we’ve gotten used to the tight space. The shop is brightly lit with tube lights that hum a little bit if you listen closely. We keep a small radio in the corner to hear the news or some music while we work. People are always rushing by, and sometimes they stop in just to ask for directions or to check the time. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us here every day. We handle the stock and make sure the displays are somewhat neat. It’s a simple business in a very crowded part of the city. We don't use any fancy systems, just a basic way of keeping track of what we have. It’s just work, and we stay until the street gets a bit quieter at night and it is finally time to close.
