Our workshop is out in Kandivali West, specifically at 36892 on 7th B Cross in the 4th B Block. If you walk down the street, you will probably hear us before you see us because there is always some sawing or hammering going on. The floor is usually covered in a thick layer of sawdust and there are wood offcuts piled up in every corner. We make all sorts of things like cupboards, chairs, and tables, mostly out of solid wood or plywood. It is hard work and our hands are usually rough and stained from the polish. We do not have a fancy catalog or a website with perfect pictures. Instead, we just show people what we are currently building or some sketches we have made on pieces of scrap paper. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as many projects as possible into the room. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the back door, but we just move the timber out of the way. We have been working in this block for years and the locals know we are the ones to talk to if a chair leg breaks or if they need a new shelf. It is just a basic wood shop run by people who like the smell of fresh cedar and teak. We stay busy enough without needing to do much else.
