Neterwala & Aibara Interior Architects is situated at 148/48, 44 Senapati Bapat Marg in the Madhuvan Chs. We are over in Matunga West, quite close to Ruparel College. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, and there’s always a lot of traffic and noise outside on the main road. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from all that. We’ve been here for a long time, and the place reflects that. It’s full of old files, new material samples, and sketches pinned to the walls. We don't try to look like a modern corporate firm. We’re more of a traditional workshop where things actually get made and decided. We spend most of our hours looking at floor plans and picking out finishes. It’s a lot of back and forth between us and the people we work for. Being near the college means there’s always a bit of energy in the air around the neighborhood. We usually have the windows shut to keep the dust and noise out while we work on the latest project. It’s not always glamorous work; there’s a lot of boring paperwork and site visits involved in being an interior architect. But we’ve been doing this long enough that it’s just second nature to us now. We don't have a big marketing department. People just know our address and they come by when they need help with a space. It’s as simple as that.
