Neo Power Electronics

We are over in Bhandup West, running Neo Power Electronics out of the Asha Kunj apartment complex. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in C-1102 sometimes with all the parts and tools lying around. Mumbai life is like that though, you make use of the space you have. We deal with power electronics, which means a lot of small components and testing equipment scattered on the benches. Usually, it's just a couple of us working through the pile of things that need fixing or checking. The traffic on the way to Bhandup can be a nightmare in the evenings, but being here is convenient for most of the local work we get. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It's more of a focused workshop where we try to stay organized, even if it doesn't always look like it to an outsider. Some days are slow, while on others we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling. We don't have a big reception desk or people to answer phones all day. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up from the workbench to see who it is. It’s a simple way of working. People know where to find us in the building. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors don't mind the occasional hum of the machines. We are just trying to keep the electronics moving and the business going.
