Nelco Ltd A Tata Enterprise

Nelco Ltd is right here in Santacruz East, specifically at 22 Laxmi Nivas on 11th Road. It's a busy part of Mumbai, and being a Tata Enterprise means there is a lot of history behind what we do every day. We aren't a huge flashy office with glass walls; it's a practical space where we get our work done. Most of us have been coming to this same spot for quite some time, so we know the local chai wallahs and the rhythm of the traffic outside our windows. People often ask about the Tata name, and yes, it’s part of the group, but here on the ground, we are just a team trying to keep things moving. The building itself has that old Mumbai charm to it, even if the stairs are a bit narrow sometimes. We deal with various technical things, and our desks are usually piled with papers and folders because that is just how things go. It gets quite humid in this part of town during the monsoon, but we stay busy regardless. We don’t really go in for big speeches or fancy posters on the walls. It’s more about checking the lists and making sure the day’s tasks are actually finished before we head home. If you walk down 11th Road, you'll see us there, just another part of the Santacruz landscape. It isn't always perfect, and sometimes the phones ring off the hook, but we handle it anyway. We just keep working through the piles of paperwork until the evening comes.
