Nawaz Plastics

You can find our shop at Gala No. 2, Zari Wala Chawl, inside Noor Manzil. We are in the Bail Bazar area on Kale Marg in Kurla West. It is a very crowded and busy neighborhood. There is always something happening right outside our door. We work with plastics, making various small items and parts. The space is quite tight, so we have to be careful about where we put things. There are bags of plastic granules and finished products stacked up to the ceiling in some spots. We have been here in Kurla for a long time. It can get very hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a fancy office or a place for people to sit. It’s a workshop through and through. The machines are old but they still work well if you treat them right. We know all their quirks and sounds. We don’t spend time on fancy talk or business plans. We just take orders and make the plastic parts as best as we can. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what we know. Kurla West is a tough place but it has a lot of energy. We are just glad to have our spot here and keep the machines turning. It is a simple way to make a living.
