We’ve got our setup on Nati Seva Sadan Road, right near the Opera House. It’s a part of town that has a lot of history and a lot of old buildings. Our shop is one of those places where the floor is almost always covered in a thin layer of sawdust. We work with wood all day, so that’s just part of the deal. You can hear the sound of chisels and sanding from the street if the door is open. It’s not a big corporate office; it’s more of a traditional workshop where things are done by hand. The air always smells like teak or rosewood, which is actually quite nice once you get used to it. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. Most of our work comes from people walking by or folks in the neighborhood who know we’ve been here for years. The light in the shop isn't great, so we have these big hanging lamps over the workbenches. Opera House is a busy area, but once you step inside our door, it feels a bit slower, like the wood takes as long as it takes. We have pieces of unfinished art sitting in every corner. It’s a bit unorganized, but we know exactly where every tool is. We just focus on the pieces we are making and try to keep the dust under control as much as possible.
