National Engg Corpn.

Our office and workshop are at number 20 in the Shah Industrial Estate in Deonar. It’s an older industrial area, so the buildings have that worn-in look. National Engg Corpn. takes up a fair amount of space here, but it’s mostly filled with heavy equipment and raw materials. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards at the gate don't even ask for our ID anymore. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, but it’s bright enough to see what we are doing on the benches. Deonar can be a bit out of the way for some people, but for us, it’s a good central spot for getting supplies. We have a small area partitioned off for the paperwork, but the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so you can hear everything happening in the shop while you’re trying to type. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we keep the big shutters open to let the air circulate. There’s a lot of clanking and the sound of metal hitting metal throughout the day. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decor because that’s not what we are about. We just need a place to work and enough room to store the finished parts before they get shipped out. It’s a simple setup that has worked for us for years, and we don't plan on changing it much.
