National Cap

We've been here in Dharavi for a while now. Our shop is on 90 Feet Road, right near the Subhani Masjid. If you know the area, it's close to Vijay Store. People usually find us by looking for R.A. Khan Glass Works first because it's a big landmark in this part of town. Room A 215 is where we do most of our daily work. It's not a fancy office or anything, just a small place where we get things done. Mostly we deal with different kinds of caps for people. It’s a busy spot here in Sai Baba Nagar. Sometimes the traffic on 90 Feet Road gets a bit much, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is out. We stay busy with orders coming in. We don't really do much advertising at all, mostly just people coming in or hearing about us from someone else in the local market. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit crowded with all the materials and boxes lying around. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. The heat in Mumbai doesn't help much in these narrow lanes, but we've gotten used to it over the years. Every day is pretty much the same routine for us. We start early and finish when the work is finally through. If you're looking for us, just ask around near the masjid. Most of the locals know where the cap makers are. It’s just how things work in this part of town.
