Naman Trading

Naman Trading is located at 208/11 on Samuel Street in the Masjid Bunder area. This is a place where work never really stops. The street is always filled with laborers and trucks moving sacks of goods. Our office is small and tucked away in this busy market. It’s quite dusty and the noise from the street never really fades, even in the evenings. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking our inventory. It’s a trading business, so it’s all about buying and selling at the right time. There isn't any fancy furniture here. We have simple desks and a few chairs for when people come to visit. We don't spend money on marketing or polished advertisements. We just rely on the work we do every day. It’s a bit chaotic, but we are used to it by now. The fans spin all day to keep the air moving, and there’s always a glass of water on the table. We know the other people on Samuel Street and we help each other out when needed. It’s hard work, and the environment is rough, but that’s just how trading in Mumbai is. We don't have a corporate structure, just a few of us making sure the goods get where they need to go without any delay.
