Nafis Telecom

I've been running Nafis Telecom for a while now over on Carnac Bunder Road. Being right near Masjid Ashrafi Mahul means there is always something going on outside. The street is 29/30 and it gets really packed around prayer times. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just shelves with various phone accessories and some older stock that I really should clear out one of these days. People stop by when their screens crack or when they need a quick recharge. It's not a fancy place by any means. The stool I sit on has a bit of a wobble and the paint is peeling near the door frame. I usually open up around ten in the morning after I’ve had my first tea. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy in the evenings. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name above the shutter. It gets hot in the afternoons so the small table fan is always running. You can hear the taxis honking constantly from the road. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to get things done without too much fuss. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit but we just wait it out. It’s part of the routine here in this part of town. I know most of the people who walk past every day. It’s a decent life and the work keeps me occupied from Monday to Saturday. I usually spend the last hour of the day tidying up the glass cases and checking the inventory for the next morning.
