Our office is in Raheja Chambers at Nariman Point, room 615. It is a very different vibe compared to the industrial areas because it’s right in the middle of the business district. Even though the building looks professional, our day is mostly spent dealing with heavy metal bearings. We get orders for all sorts of sizes and types. The desk is usually covered in catalogs and technical specifications. It can be a bit loud with the phones ringing and the street noise from below. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking inventory and talking to suppliers. Nariman Point is always busy, and finding parking around here is a nightmare, so we mostly take the train or bus. The office is small but functional. We have some samples of the bearings on the shelf so people can see what they are getting. It is mostly a lot of back-and-forth communication to make sure the right part gets to the right factory. We don't have any fancy displays or marketing materials hanging up. It’s just a place where we do our business and try to keep things moving. The view from the window is mostly other office buildings and the sea in the distance if the weather is clear. We’ve been here for a good while, so we know the building staff and the lift operators quite well.
