We are located on the third floor of Laxmi B Mall, right above the Axis Bank. If you know the Laxmi Industrial Estate in Andheri West, you know how hectic the New Link Road gets. Our office isn’t huge, but it’s where we handle all the paperwork for the construction chemicals and tile stuff we deal with. Being in a mall is a bit different than a regular warehouse. You have the elevators and the glass doors, but inside it’s just desks, computers, and a lot of samples lying around. The traffic outside is always loud, even up here on the third floor. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, but it’s better than the humidity outside. We spend our hours answering calls and coordinating with the sites. It’s mostly about logistics and making sure the orders go out correctly. It can get pretty cramped when we have a lot of files piling up on the desks. We go down to the local stalls for tea during breaks. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time. It’s not like those fancy tech offices you see on TV. It’s just a place where work gets done. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the desks get a bit messy with blueprints and invoices. That's just how it is in this industry. It gets dark early in the winter, and the mall lights outside start flickering. We usually head out once the main traffic dies down a bit.
