We are located on the 9th floor of the Embassy Centre, which is at 906 in Nariman Point. Being in a high-rise in such a famous part of Mumbai sounds more glamorous than it actually feels when you’re here every day. The elevator ride can take forever during the morning rush, and sometimes we just give up and wait in the lobby. Henkel-Cac (P) Ltd. has been in this office for quite a while. Inside, it’s a typical office setup with desks, files, and a lot of ringing phones. We don't have a view of the sea from every window, but some corners of the office get a bit of a breeze. It’s a busy environment where people are always rushing around with papers. We aren't the type to have a lot of meetings for no reason; we usually just talk over the partitions when something needs to be settled. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used piece of equipment we own. Nariman Point is always buzzing, and the noise of the traffic down below even reaches us up on the 9th floor sometimes. We go out for lunch at the local stalls nearby, which is a nice break from the office air. It’s a steady place to work with a lot of familiar faces who have been here for a decade or more.
