Music Time

We are based in Andheri West at number 4. The shop is called Music Time. It is not a huge place, but we have managed to fit a lot of instruments inside the space we have. We have guitars hanging on the walls and a few drums tucked away in the back corner. People often walk in just to look around or try out a keyboard for a few minutes. It gets quite noisy when two or three people are trying different instruments at the same time. We do not have a formal way of doing things here. We just talk to whoever walks through the door. Some are students and some are just people who want to pick up a hobby. Andheri West is a very lively area, so there is always something going on right outside. We spend a lot of our time tuning strings or just wiping the dust off the equipment. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when a new shipment arrives. We have to move the stools and stands around just to make a path. We have had this shop for several years now and the neighbors are used to the sounds coming from here. We do not have any fancy displays or neon signs. The instruments are just there on the floor or the walls. Most days it is just us sitting behind the counter listening to the radio. It is a decent way to spend our time. (256 words)
