We are over in Bandra West at Mukadar Bunglow, right across from the Sahiba Hotel. It is a good spot, though parking around here is always a bit of a nightmare. We have got all sorts of furniture pieces crammed into the space. There is usually the smell of wood and polish in the air. We spend our days moving tables and chairs around to show people what they might like for their homes. It is a family thing, so there is usually someone from the house around to help out. We do not have a showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It is more like a workshop where things happen. You might see us sanding down a cupboard or fixing a leg on a stool. We get a lot of regulars who live in the flats nearby. They know we do honest work. We do not use those fancy brochures. If you want to see something, you just have to come in and look at the actual piece. Sometimes the shop gets really dusty, but that is just how it goes with furniture. We try to make things that last a long time. It is not a fast business. It takes time to get things right. We just sit out front on the plastic chairs when it is quiet and watch the cars go by on the main road. Sometimes we share some tea with the neighbors while we wait for the next customer.
