National Electronics

If you know Grant Road, you probably know where the Super Cinema is. We are right across from it in the Matawadi Building. It’s an old building, the kind with character and narrow hallways that have seen a lot of years. Our shop, National Electronics, is tucked in there, and it’s usually packed with gadgets, components, and wires. Being on Ms Ali Road means we deal with a lot of noise from the street and the cinema crowds. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of shelf space. Often, there are boxes stacked up in the corners or under the counters. We spend a lot of time testing parts or looking at circuit boards under the desk lamps. The lighting inside is a bit dim compared to the bright lights of the cinema outside, but it works for us. Customers usually pop in with something that needs fixing or they are looking for a specific part they can't find elsewhere. There is a lot of back-and-forth talking, and the sound of the ceiling fan is a constant background hum. We don't have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a workshop feel where the floor might have a few stray bits of solder or wire clippings. It’s a busy, cramped, and honest way to spend the day in a very lively part of the city. We have been in this spot for quite a long time now.
